The 2010 Winter Texan Travel Fair Big Hit with Visitors

The 4th annual Coastal Bend Travel Fair was a great success in our new location at the Aransas Pass Civic Center.  We had 35 vendor booths including seven new ones.

Based on the numbered door prize tickets given out at the door, we estimate attendance at 750 Winter Texans from the Midwest, Colorado, New York, Florida, Arkansas and Canada.

The Travel Fair could not have been the success it was without the teamwork demonstrated by so many.    Thanks to Jane Marslender for the wonderful PowerPoint presentation she put together showcasing our members and Travel Fair vendors.  This presentation ran continuously on the huge 25' x 40' screen behind the stage at the Civic Center.

This PowerPoint presentation will be fine-tuned and used for future events of this type and also for smaller scale presentations to local civic clubs,etc.

Thanks also to those of you who donated the bags given out at the door for the attendees to stuff their goodies in ~
